Graduated from Sugino Dress Maker Women’s College / Designers Course
Held a fashion show at a waste incineration factory in Nagano for the first time in Japan under the theme 「Co-existence of Environment and Fashion」.
With this as the start, she held a fashion show, 「Fashion for the Earth」(formative artsusing environmentally friendly materials) , as a cultural programme in the art & culture festival of Nagano Olympic Games in 1998. Based on her intention to convert the system of production from mass production and consumption to recycling style, organized a show with the aim of co-existence with the environment in the fashion field, which was introduced internationally and domestically.

She has been devoting herself to teaching and helping to develop young creators as the Principal of Oka Gakuen – Nagano Fashion College (Now, Oka Gakuen–Total Design Academy) since 1997. She also represents her company, KK. ECOMACO®, Oka Masako Design Office as the president, and colour analyst, as well as a natural fashion designer, introducing her concept of the natural environment and Japanese culture.
